Backpacks for the Homeless 2024 – A Huge Success!

We’re thrilled to share the incredible success of the Backpack for the Homeless 2024 – 5@7 edition! This event truly showcased the power of community and generosity.

With the help of over 50 amazing employees from Valsef Group of companies, Valnet, Valsoft and Valstone, we assembled 300 backpacks in less than 8 minutes! Each bag was filled with six essential items for the homeless: gloves, a hat, a toothbrush, toothpaste, a $15 gift card, and wool socks.

What made this initiative even more special was the heartfelt notes written by our employees and tucked into each bag. These messages of encouragement, kindness, and hope aim to uplift the spirits of those receiving the backpacks. Sometimes, it’s the smallest gestures—like a kind word—that can make the biggest difference.

Homelessness is a growing issue in many communities, especially during the harsh winter months. Access to basic necessities like warmth, hygiene, and a little financial support can make a significant difference in someone’s life. These backpacks, coupled with personal notes, provide not only essential items but also a message of care and humanity to individuals who might otherwise feel forgotten.
