As we close our third year, we take a moment to reflect on our incredible journey of impact and generosity. Over the past year, the Valsef Dream Big Foundation has remained steadfast in its mission to improve the lives of Montrealers by supporting organizations dedicated to Health and Wellness, Education, Sports and Community.

Together with our partners, supporters, and community, we have achieved extraordinary milestones that highlight the power of collective action.

Here are some highlights:

Annual Dream Big Gala: $673,400 Raised for CHU Sainte-Justine Foundation

Our annual gala raised an astonishing $673,400 to support the CHU Sainte-Justine Foundation’s mission of providing world-class care to children and their families. These funds contribute to critical research, innovative treatments, and programs that improve countless young lives. Thank you to all participants for making this event a tremendous success!

Hockey Helps the Homeless: $10,000 Raised

In partnership with Hockey Helps the Homeless, our team raised over $10,000 to combat homelessness in Montreal. These funds will support vital programs and services, providing shelter, resources, and hope to those in need.

Maison St-Raphaël: $50,000 to Support Compassionate End-of-Life Care

We are proud to support Maison St-Raphaël with an annual donation of $50,000, helping to provide compassionate end-of-life care. These funds ensure dignity and support for individuals and families during life’s most challenging moments.

Montreal Community Cares Foundation: $45,000 for Youth Empowerment

We continued our partnership with the Montreal Community Cares Foundation, donating $45,000 to empower youth through mentorship, education, and community-building initiatives. Our employees also participated in MCC’s first basketball tournament and other activities throughout the year, further strengthening our commitment to fostering resilience and opportunities for the next generation.

Make-A-Wish Québec: $50,000 to Fulfill Five Life-Changing Wishes

Through the Trees of Joy initiative, we proudly funded five life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses, with an annual donation of $50,000. These moments of joy and hope remind us of the profound impact we can have together. Employees were thrilled to decorate Christmas trees for Alek and Thomas, making their holidays extra special.

Backpacks for the Homeless: 300 Backpacks Assembled in Record Time

With the help of over 50 dedicated employees from Valsef Group companies, we assembled 300 backpacks in less than eight minutes. These backpacks were distributed locally to those in need. Additionally, in partnership with Plein Milieu, we provided more than 50 bags of essentials, along with over $750 in gift cards for McDonald’s and Tim Hortons.

Building Momentum for 2025

Looking ahead, under the leadership of our new General Manager, Véronnik Marcil, we are committed to amplifying our efforts and deepening our impact in 2025. We will continue to inspire and support youth by investing in initiatives that promote physical and mental well-being, access to sports, and quality education.
